With the Summer Reading program, all new students spend the summer reading and thinking about a single book. You’ll have something to talk about from the very first day at WCU, and you’ll share an experience that will serve as a foundation for your common bond during your years at WCU.

Any questions can be directed to Tammy Haskett, the director of orientation. And remember, there is no need to buy the book; it will be given to you at orientation.

This year's selection is "Three Cups of Tea" by Greg Mortensen and David Oliver Relin.
