CLS Admission Requirements
A strong background in science and math is necessary for success in the Clinical Laboratory Sciences Program. Students also must be willing to spend many hours in the laboratory and outside study. Manual dexterity and a mechanical aptitude are necessary for the operation of technical equipment. Other desirable qualities for success in the CLS major are an aptitude for problem solving, an interest in helping people, and the ability to work well with others.
Students may apply for admission when they have completed, or are concurrently completing, the Liberal Studies and program requirements. A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required. Applications must be received in the program office by February 15. Interviews are required. Admission decisions are announced in writing to applicants by March 15.
