If you decide to go through a recruitment process either formal or informal, there are several things you should find out before committing to join a particular chapter.

1. What is your chapter GPA? New member class average?
   
   

2. Is there a GPA requirement, which I must meet in order to be initiated?
   If so, what is the requirement?
   
   
3. What is the total chapter membership here at WCU?
   
   
4. What are my initial membership fees?
   
   
5. What will be my semester or annual fees and dues after that?
   
   
6. Who are your chapter advisors on and off campus?
   
   
7. Are there other people in the chapter with my major or a similar major?
   
   
8. What academic resources and programming does your chapter offer to its members? Do you have study halls (sessions)?
   
   
9. How long after I accept an invitation to join will I be initiated? What are all of the time commitments that will be required during my new member program orientation period?
   
   
10. Are your members involved in other campus student organizations and activities? If so, what are some of the organizations? Will I be able to get involved and when?
    
    
11. What responsibilities do new members and initiates have?
