Your Financial Aid Package
When you apply for financial aid, the WCU Financial Aid Office uses the information you provide to determine your financial aid package.

Typically, your financial aid package will include one or more of the following:

Federal loans: Low-interest loans offered by the federal government make up the largest portion of the financial aid package. Unlike private loans, most federal loans do not have to be repaid until after graduation.

Grants: Students who demonstrate need may be awarded gift aid that does not have to be repaid. Most grants are supplied by federal and state sources.

Federal Work-Study: Part-time, on-campus jobs provide another source of aid.

You should also investigate other forms of funding for graduate students, including special grants, scholarships, tuition discounts and waivers, and non-Work-Study jobs.
