Who am I?

I am the ARC Grant Coordinator for Western Carolina University. I am from Elkin, North Carolina and I graduated from Western with a B.S. in Communication/Science Disorders. My job is split between the College of Education and the Office of Admission. I get the best of both worlds because I get to work with students in a classroom setting, and I also get to help promote a University I love!

Why Western?
Western is an experience of a lifetime! It has a small-town feel with a lot of action. My high school was small, so coming to a school with a 14:1 student-to-teacher ratio was the perfect fit for me. I love athletics and Western has over 50 different intramural programs to join. If you love the outdoors like I do, the possibilities are endless. WCU offers something for all seasons: skiing, whitewater rafting, hiking, or just sight-seeing at the Cherokee Indian Reservation or Blue Ridge Parkway. Western is a place for students, families, and—best of all—YOU!
